I would not accept any offer before securing the schools for your children. All schools here are full, with long waiting list, in particular for grades up to 8. It does not really matter if you are from QP or not, the ASD school is simply, full.
Education level is at about an average+ level of public school in the US.
My advice, from personal experience, is not to limit your options to one school only, apply to as many as you can, you may end up with the worst good school. Keep in mind that the school cannot be worked out remotely, you have to be here and your children must take placement tests.
If you can time it so that you move April or May, you have a better amount of time to manage.
