She deserves nothing less than the harshest punishment (Life in prison or the death penalty) in my opinion. The message this sentence sends is that it is okay to kill your child if you are angry. The very same court would surely give a harsher sentence if the woman killed someone unrelated, so why does the fact that it was her child change anything?
