they are not charitable organisations. There are not many places to choose from in Doha, so there isn't much competition - one of the reasons costs are high, but then again, high overheads - its not cheap to bring qualified vets from overseas - accomodation, tranpsort, villas to house the practice, medical equipment, medications... all this costs money...

Similiar to that of a doctors surgery - and you know what you pay for a human doc's consult, don't you?
