I was at the swimming pool on Al Nasr Sports Club last night, when this completely gorgeous young woman, probably about 5'4", in her 20's comes in, sits herself down and after about 10mins of waiting, starts removing her clothes, preparing for swimming.
She was dressed in deux pieces, bra and tanga, looked ultra-cool and while waiting on her blanket, started to read a book. I had half a mind of leaving my plastic chair and the people I was with to join her, but I thought it would seem rude and so I didn't ;-)
What bamboozled me was, why she would go and swim alone? Is it because it's one of those days where she prefers the "being alone" part of it or is it because she doesn't have friends in Doha, was she stood up? The reason could be anything :-?
I'm just not the type that will go into a swimming pool and swim by myself, I need to have someone with me. If there is no one available, I would rather "take a shower" at my home, than sit there alone.
