Veris... thank you for your opinion, but alot of us dog owners won't be without our beloved pets... no matter where we are...
You will be surprised how busy the pet relocators are bringing and sending peoples animals to and from Qatar - Yes we have the odd animals left behind when people leave, but not on a huge scale... and QAWS tries its best to assist people who might have no option but to leave there pets behind when they leave...
Moving animals is actually not such a big deal... the only country that has major problems with accepting animals is UK - they have a 6month Quarentine law - which, wouldn't be a problem if Qatar would just implement the Pet Passport Scheme - an application for it, which was submitted by QAWS years ago still needs to be approved... government beauracracy sucks!
Oh and dog fighting is predominantly done by the local community... which is why breeds like pitbull, rottweilers and similar breeds are banned in Qatar.
Now back to track of keeping this post as a warning to PET OWNERS!!!!
