I saw England game in City Center, at a cafe and it was too quiet -- everyone embarrassed to make a sound.
Went to Souq Waqif fanzone last night for Brazil vs North Korea and it was much better. Someone even had a vuvuzela, which was a little annoying at first, but it added to the atmosphere. The crowd was mostly for Brazil but very excited to see good play from both teams. A good amount of shouting, cheering, and jumping. :D
My only criticism there is that there were very few chairs, and sitting on the floor for 2 hours was agonizingly painful. My advice is to get there early or bring a pillow for your butt.
Why does everyone here watch at home? :(
