Apparently landed about 3000 ft beyond the touch down point. Pilot braked very hard resulting in bursting of tyres. Skidded towards the end of runaway and hit the wall. The reports suggest that the plane broke up into two on the impact and burst into flames while sliding down the valley.

Almost all the survivors were the ones who were thrown out when the aircraft broke up.
