What do they think Mossad (or the CIA or MI6) do? Are they so daft as to think that these organizations only work within their own national borders?

They have every right to be upset it happened in their country (but then that begs the point that if you don't want stuff like this happening in your country, you shouldn't give safe harbor to such individuals). But it's not their job to talk about the "disrespect" of the countries whose passports were used in this assassination. I suspect most of those countries are actually quite thankful that Al Mabhouh was taken out, so while they must make some sort of gesture to make it seem like they are not pleased with their citizens' identities being stolen, a slap on the wrist is all it will ever amount to.

I wonder if with this announcement they are effectively saying they will not allow Israeli athletes and conference attendees into the country for events they host. Because that would entail them losing out on hosting rights for some fairly major events.

And how exactly does one profile a suspected Israeli dual citizen? Will they refuse any Jewish person with a strange accent? Personally, I think they'll have a hard time profiling Israelis because they don't all look the same. You've got ashkenazi and sephardic backgrounds so a fairly wide range of heritages and looks.
