For me it sounds quite intimidating to bring up the reference of police or involvement of authorities... people should think twice before venturing into that area.. it can get nastier and we may be playing with someones life without knowing the complete details just based on one side of the story... not a very prudent way to handle things which otherwise also I feel is not a subject for discussion on open forum while mentioning names too.
