Please accept this as a comment utterly divorced from any religous laws or interpretions. We are all not masterminds and many will seek any support they can find for their own stupid interpretation of their own predjudices and analysis of their own problems. If they can find something in Islam, Christianity or anything else they will quote it but will conveniently ignore their own unreasonable behaviour. That is what lawyers and judges are for, you can pay someone to present the best case for you and often the most impressive (expensive) case can be accepted without too much guilt! Stay away from the poor guys (judges) who have to decide these cases with almost everyone standing before them is telling the best story to suit their case! In most cases these are half truths!
