with due respect you are mixing topics/subjects here. hygiene, work condition, living condition, and salary. if we will focus on hygiene, i am agreeing with fubar. i myself experienced entering in a very prestigious hotels and establishments to go out at once because of foul smells coming from other people. they are well dressed and looks educated. hygiene is hygiene, it is not that costly.
as for the living and work condition plus the salary, that is another story.
