Windows 7 is the Best Operating System since well ever. Linux.Solaris and OSX are minority Operating systems which have little support by the mass market.
You will get Linux Geeks advising how great it is but for features,Support and ease of use Windows 7 all the way.
I have used it since first public Beta and Never an issue.I dont see where Risky comes from.
Beware of the Linux and Mac Fanboys.
