due to population growth pressure is on schools and they can afford to be picky. It is distressing that schools set up with British Embassy help for British kids have adopted a policy of excluding less able, or less financially secure British kids in favour of any of 57 different nationalities who work for Oil companies.
Best schools have traditionally been DIS, DESS for younger kids, Doha College for older kids. Many other schools are mushrooming and some are better than others.
