I have absolutely no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the fact that there is only ONE English station and it's not even entirely in English -- yet I bet English speakers (both first and second) vastly outnumber the French speakers here.
As it is, I do follow your advice and I switch QBS off. All the time. Which is kind of sad considering the size of the population here...you'd think there would be a relatively okay radio station here with interesting programming. But there isn't.
Weather permitting, I can sometimes pull in Dubai or another station with decent music, but it's so hit-or-miss that I just keep the radio off entirely and simply listen to my own tunes.
