Vaccination has helped irradicate or reduce many diseases which previously were prevalent.
My issue with them is that they are done way too early in a child's life. My children have had reactions to one of the early vaccinations ( I think it was the BCG) because they are contain egg whites ( so the doctor told me ) again this is probably another factor contributing towards triggering allergies. There is also a strong correlation between the rise in autism and the introduction of new vaccinations in the USA.
This H1N1 flu seems to be a bit of scare mongering - and I think its more likely the possibility of a stronger second strain that the WHO is worried about. I don't think vaccinating against it will help a great since the authorities don't even know which are the at risk groups - the majority of people who have died are not young children and old people - which is the normally the case for most flus.
