I am a Qatari and had some rough times. Yes I took a bank loan and yes I used to work to pay off my loan. Yes I lived with my parents but I never asked them for anything. I had a roof over my head, but still. Because of my working hours, I never ate at home so I always needed cash to buy myself food. I used to order either a falafel sandwich and a shani = 3qr or a fish bun = 2 qr. When I got sick of that, I survived on white rice with tuna. My monthly food budget was max 100qr. I know tough times when I see them.

QatariLady, I have no idea who you are or what you do, but you seem to be very peculiar. Are you living in the same Qatar that I am living in, because shaklich you're not. Or you are, but in a bubble.

Again, if you want, you can call Qatar Charity or any other Charity to ask for yourself. People living but not living.

And salamtich when you say, ' We're in Qatar.. Even widowed and divorced women are eligible for free housing. Now women who are married to non-Qataris are also eligible for free housing. Heard of Rawdat el Hamam? It's an area designated for women housing.' I'm married and my husband wasn't given land to build on. He has applied for it, but still nothing. How many years does it take? Maybe when my grandkids graduate! And the Qatariyat that are married to foreigners DON'T get free housing.
