:) even if the Hindus call the Idol as God... many wont... but even if they do.. it is out of respect/love for the God... so don think there is anything wrong in it...

My point of view is of a believer... true...
but not very much into Idol worship... I admire it... know its importance... but I am more into philosophical and Spiritual side of it... and less of rituals...
And Physics was my fav subject in school so don think any further you Mr. troll... :)

And sinking the Idol in water... doesn mean tht Idol/God is not respected.... thts how the festival is...

Whatever starts has to end.... festivals too....

If the people are not as Pious as they are at Ramadan.. doesn mean they disrespect the faith for 11 months....

tht is wht festivals are... they start they end... they have a purpose.....

If It (Idol) was actually a God.... being present at every house and listening to every prayer and saying " I (God) Bless you"..... Tough Job to be a God... :)
