It is very much like - tht I m a poet of Language you don know... say Marathi...

There are many Gods in Hinduism...
Shri Krishna, Ganapati (My fav :) ), Vishnu etc....
All these are known to be re-incarnations of the God....
Hierarchy wise.... there is one Ultimate God...
Who then took form of three major - The creator, the sustainer and the destroyer...
And the Gods known are re-incarnations of these in different time zones ...
These Gods are Specific... as per the Human desires....
Ganesha or Ganpati is known to be God of Wisdom, Agni Dev for fire, Maa Annapurna for Food, Maa Laxmi for Money which is Dynamic, Kuber for Wealth tht is stagnant...
Technically you are praying one God... but when you imagine or rather pray tht particular God... your energies and focused on wht you are praying for or you pray one which you like....
Variety is accepted and appreciated in Hinduism...
You need a physical image to imagine....
even when we imagine... nothingness... it is like - all tht I know this does not exist....
there are Hindus who follow religion as followed by Musims... there are Idol worshipers...
there are people doin R n D on a particular script..
All are Hindus...
No body outcasts the other one....
Yes we do fight amongst each other often... :) we do have our share of nuts... :)
I am not a Idol worshiper.. I am more of a seeker... someone in search of experience beyond the scope of logic n common sense...
n m still a Hindu... I have a right to research and seek wht I m searching for....
I m addicted to how functioning of brain affects our thought process and limits us from living with our ful potential.... but thts me...
One Major Difference between Islam and Hinduism... or the way I follow is....
In Islam... there is only ONE GOD...
For me... Everything came from God.. there is God in everything....
Everyone of US... I see God in all... It wont be digestible to most of you here... but tht is wht I follow n know...
May b tht is why... I never try to convert people to wht I believe But try help them practice theres' in a better way..
Help Muslim be a Better Muslim
Help Christian being a Better Christian...
Help a Hindu be a Better Hindu (this is field of expertise :) )
