I've been riding Quad Bikes in Qatar for 12 years now, and have never had a major accident. I always take care, and wear a helmet.

I do agree though that it is the fault of the rental places, and I don't mean the indians that work there, since it is only their job to hire the bikes for money. It is the fault of the owner, for not providing helmets, or telling his employees to provide safety training.
