wizz14...you are right...you cannot live without God because there will always be a longing in yourself...but that doesn't mean that you need religion to suffice the longing. you answered it yourself, people before offered tributes to trees, rain, sun, etc because that is how they show their gratitude. That is not religion, but they thank the nature for providing them what they need.

Submission to God is different from SUBMISSION TO RELIGION. you can submit yourself to God even without religion.

God will judge you based on your actions and not by what you memorized from the books offered by religion.

You always mix and confuse the meaning of the word Islam and Muslim. If it means submission to God, can the Hindus, Christians and other Religions who submit themselves to the God that they were raised to believe, be called Muslim?

In order to become a Muslim, in reality, you need to read the book read by Muslim, and you need to do what they do, pray the same way they pray, do the rituals they all do.
Abraham, Moses, Isaac, Jacob, David, etc. haven't read the books you read, and didn't do all the rituals that you do, but how come they were called a muslim? They are MONOTHEIST,a DEIST, who believes in God. They have no religion before. they have a Philosophy about God. They were able to live and leave this world without religion, what makes it different for us nowadays? Can't the same law that was applied then be applied today?

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!
