Mr. hirands... you took me wrong.. what I said was in good faith as I think 5 weeks is a long time to keep thinking of things..piecemeal.. specially for a job change...

If u re- read what I said... "dont go for tits and bits ... work on macro items with some cushion for the unknown.." .. idea is not to get mired by so many things to work on that u loose sight of the biggies... and by and large or I should say almost every company specially in oil field does provide all safety gear, wherever required.

As I understand it is mostly the biggies that make one decide to jump in or not (definitely for me when I consider a job change)...however if you think tit bits are more important so be it... I have no issues on that...

I did not get the "policing" thing mentioned by you though...
