I once saw on tv that gays in India are ostracized from the society wherein they live outside the communities. Crimes against them go left unpunished because the society treated them like lepers.

Legalizing it would give them(the third sex, gays, homosexuals) equal rights and protection by your government, which is only right. though they different in their sexual orientation doesn't make them half human, right?
