i bought my dog from Australia to the UK and it cost 1200 pounds, he travelled pretty comfprtably and was treated well through the duration of the flight, the major chunk of cash went to some thai bloke minding the dog on the tarmac as the plane refuelled in bangkok, they put him in a ply wood kennel thing which was roomy and had its own water bowl etc,
jet pet i think it was called but they have agents all over the world and they do it all for you,
