Just saw a link to this thread from the PC spec post. Nice to see some fellow gamers and overclockers.
I saw a post up on this same page saying someone was getting 4MB/s downloads. Just curious what service provider is offering that? As far as I knew, QTel was the only broadband provider offering 2MB/s max at a staggering cost of 400QAR. Are there any other choices at this point?
As a hello post, I figured I would post my system specs:
Intel QX9650 overclocked to 4GHz
Gigabyte X38T DQ6 Motherboard
8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 ram
ATI 4870X2 2GB Video Card
Four 64GB OCZ Vertex SSD drives in RAID0 (System)
Two 1TB Western Digital RE3 drives in RAID1 (Storage)
Areca 1231ML Hardware Raid card with 2GB ECC ram cache
LG BluRAy burner / DVD burner combo
Vista Ultimate 64 bit OS
Self built and overclocked. :)
Does everyone else import their parts like I do? Most stores in Doha I have seen are pre-built systems that sell for WAY WAY over fair value.
