don't read the paper or watch the program that offends you.

Pretty simple.

Why is turning off the radio/TV/computer or choosing NOT to read something such a difficult task for people here to handle?

I'm not a big fan of the call to prayer on the radio when I'm driving.
So guess what I do when it comes along?
It's rather complex and it took me a long time to figure this one out...

I turn the volume down or the radio off.
Or I switch to my CD player and groove to some music instead.

See how easy it was for me to NOT listen to something that I really didn't care for?

Collective acts and norms? Well, that's kind of how it is here right now. Nothing that offends Islam or the prophet.
And that's fine. But then don't say or pretend that you have media freedom, and don't expect anyone to take any journalism or scholarly study that comes out of this country seriously because you're biasing things from the start.

It's HH's call to make.

But you can't have it both ways.
