My daughter and I just got back - we loved the Jardin du Luxembourg and the brasseries of Boulevard Montparnasse. The Metro is an amazing way to get around and so easy to use. Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame you have to see but very touristy, we preferred the Musee Rodin with its delightful gardens and quiet cafe. Find a corner boulangerie and indulge in everything they have!
