I don't like the close connection between nursery and educational supplier at LifeTime.

I wouldn't trust a doctor employed by a drug company, and I don't really trust a school which is part of a educational publishing company.

Sorry, I'm probably just being a cynic. For the record, my boy went to Starfish Lane. He enjoyed it. I hear there are a few other nice ones, but you need to turn up at the door and ask for a look around. Is the place clean? Do the kids look happy? Are the classroom assistants speaking the same language as your child?

I went round the LifeTime nursery that you asked about. It's round the corner from Choueifat School, and so it's popular among Arab families. Like Choueifat, you might be surprised if you're coming from a Western system at how hard they work the kids. It definitely wasn't my cup of tea.
