Talk to her politely and ask her for the reason. There should be a reason. If the reason make sense try to compensate. If the reason does not make sense then let her go on her own expenses. Dont try to stop her coz she will run away to her embassy or agency then she can say any thing to them. She can claim you were doing voilence or blablabla. Once things reach to that level there is always embarasement.
Try not to put yourself and your family in any bad situation.
