I didn't want to go for a modular psu, because the amperage will be divided through multi-rails and that means no way to run GTX290's in sli(started thinking future upgrade without having a pc lol).
I was hesitating between the Corsair and the modular BFG800,I selected the Corsair at the end because of the good reviews, the high amperage on a single rail and the SLI certification.
As long as people are able to run two GTX280 with it,and as the BFG can't though having the required connectors, the Corsair was the best choice for my budget.
The main point is that Corsair are advertising the most stable continuous power -750Watts-,whereas other manufacturers are giving the maximum power.
The 750TX is capable of 925Watts...
There were many other options but too much expensive for me.
