i totally agree with brit and osman here.
for me, i think if u take out the preconcieved notions and religious aspects, this was a good read.
again..for me. thats just me.

i particularly loved this part and i quote, "....And yet, we were told that it was women's liberation to abandon the raising of another human being in order to work on a machine. We accepted that working in a factory was superior to raising the Foundation of society -just because a man did it."
and..
"...Then after working, we were expected to be superhuman-the perfect mother, the perfect wife, the perfect homemaker -and have the perfect career. And while there is nothing wrong, by definition, with a woman having a career, we soon came to realize what we had sacrificed by blindly mimicking men..."

again, guys don't be mad..i know the majority don't like this thread. this is just me voicing out my opinon.
personally, this post moved me in a way that i cant be the supermom, hottiewife, and breadwinner and not lose my mind or crash&burn my health at the same time (calm down, i didnt say its impossible). now im thinking i should JUST be a housewife someday. i said just because i wantED to accomplish many things in my life, now im beginning to realize how important my role is as a good future mother and homemaker. before i thought, why should my (to be)husband be the only one making money? i should too-- have the power, be independent. now i think otherwise. again, this is just my pov. in the end, let me just say im glad i have read this.
