I think only a fool could believe that the recent wars were started for humanitarian reasons, to spread our notion of "democracy".

It is hardly a coincidence that these military operations happen to be directed only at selected parts of the world, namely those with a strategic interest to us.

Of course I'm disgusted by barbarian practices wherever they are found, including torture, "collateral damage" and whatever they are called. More wars are hardly the answer, nor is contributing to fueling hatred by misinformation and selective reporting of horror stories, real or fantasy
