My sister lives in Poole, Dorset, (it's our home too). Recently a letter was sent by the council threatening her with prison if she failed to immediately bring in her wheelie bin after the refuse collectors (bin men) had been. They come at 11am on a Tuesday, she is being penalised for being one of the few people in the area who actually works. She has to come home at lunchtime now in case they come and take photos. I also believe that their new found confidence to bully innocent people about refuse (rubbish) comes from a new found power. I would happily submit my privacy to a government capable of running the country. Let me know if we get one...
