There's a big complex building exactly opposite to Al ronak (back door where they keep the bedding n quilts) near Souq al Asiri, near the spiral mosque, or the islamic center.. jus enter the complex from the side opposit to the back door of al ronaq, and once inside, on both sides there are shops, of which many sell all kinds of sewing materials. there's an old pakistani uncle's shop thr, he has good quality stuff, like yarn for example, which is from US, Lion brand.. he also has all kinds of velvet and satin ribbons, buttons, beads etc..i always buy all my sewing stuff from here. all the best..
