Thexonic,

I grew up in the US so I try to look at things fully not just get caught up in ideas or themes. I was pointing out if you are writing and article about empowerment state the accomplishments which are in relation to her achievements.

However if you are writing a slanted article that is not meant to show an empowered woman who is keeping fit and is a top fitness model why make a large part of the article about her being .5 percent Sabah, with four or five degrees. It is just called critical thinking and asking the simple question, "Is this what we are fighting for?"

The same way I questioned this article, I question some of the Rap Music and African Amrican artists these days. Is this want the Civil Rights Movement in the US was for? Did people die and sacrifice for this freedom? Was it so that we can turn around kill each other and call women all kinds of names. I have the choice not to listen to it and question the reason that it is the only garbage put out by the record companies and media.

Not be mesmerized that the wrote a slanted article stating that Snoop Dog is such a philanthropist that loves the kids and gives back and has a degree from Harvard. In the end what he is giving me is still garbage. Is that empowering or is it garbage wrapped in the empowerment wrapping paper?
