there is definite evidence that the earth's temperatures are rising, but it's much slower than most people think. i forget the numbers, but there have been multiple studies that have shown a definite increase in the past 100 years. the CAUSE of it is still not clear though.
but yeah i think it gets exaggerated. in any case, alternative energy still needs to be researched. going clean is definitely possible... the amount of energy from the sun that hits the roof of a house could easily provide enough power to it.
