hey. 1700 is pretty good-but it depends on what car you're looking for. im also renting a car at the moment but looking to buy one very soon as it works out much cheaper! Also, if you get in an accident- the car has insurance, but from what I've seen- the car rental companies require you to pay 2,500- even its not your fault. furthermore, the insurance will not cover everything, and you may have to pay an additional amount. please be careful :)
