if ur ipod is readable as Hardrive in on your Mac or PC, you can back it up.

first set your setting:

1. in windows, open explorer, TOOLS, Folder option.

2. change settings of Hidden folders to "show all hidden files and folders".

3. then go back to your ipod and copy "all" folders there.

4. copy and really dont forget the hidden folder "IPOD_CONTROL"

5. then you can save all files there.

*** note: the files for music and video is a hidden folder that is why u need to "show all hidden folders" like mentioned on step 2.

** IPOD_CONTROL is where your music and video are stored.
