Yes PM, sari is banned in Sharjah and so is 'half pants' (not sure what they call them these days) for men. I remember once, my hubby was out to throw garbage in the chute (just two steps from the door )wearing his shorts and the neigbour screamed. My hubby was all apologetic later (after he changed). May be she had never seen a bare leg.
