just love garlic and shallots ah onions basically. try roasting the whole bulb or garlic (skins on) it is so oh so good or try roasting peeled garlic with a some olive oil and lotsa parmesan yummy too. you can smash them and have it on some sliced baguettes......awesome(i pwomise you i dont smell of garlic >winks)
