this drug is only advisable to be taken under docs supervision. and furthermore it can only be taken for a certain duration. it is not a multivitamin where one can just pop it in any time. in certain countries when a person has agreed to take this medication you are informed of all the complications or side effect connected to it and then you are req to sign a form to say that you understand and know wat you are doing. but under docs supervision this medication can help with acne probs but it is not a permanent measure twds acne cure. it has to be taken continously else yr acne will come back. i was prescribed this drug only once in my life when i had really bad acne and that too was monitored by the dermatologist and it was prescribed to be for a few mths according to a certain dosage. wat this drug does is it kinda kills the oil glands hence eliminationg oily skin. once you stop taking this drug yr skin goes back to square one. my teenage son has mild skin probs wat with hormones and that growing age andthe dermatologist advised that roccutane is not advised to be given to teens if possible and if it given that would be the last resort. also pls take note that wat is good for one person may not be good for others so pls once again kindly consult yr physician before taking any form of drugs as in medication do not go by word of mouth.it can do more harm than cure......
life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......
