I liked both the books but for different reasons. Dan Brown's passion for history is apparent and captivating. Plot was interesting and the glimpse of church politics was also interesting.
The book did drag on for a bit. The ending was great. It should make a much better movie then the Da Vinci Code.
Da Vinci code was great for its freshness. I don't remember a recent thriller of the genre that handled European local with so much historical perspective.

Good books though, both of them.
