I am only interested in buying a Merc (semi 4WD) "not a new model" (My hubby says wishful thinking) but hey if the price is right why not.
I am not planing to use this in the desert but mainly just for shoping and visiting friends.
I have purchased cars where I came from and always from a registered dealers and I had not problem at all. I guess I will be reluctant to buy any car from a street vendor of any nationalities. I have to ask him/her to go to the vehicle inpection dept with me (if you have any here) and ask for a certificate that everything is in order.
