Uh, no they are definitely not rude because of my 'advances'. I am not interested in them in that way, trust me.
But they do tend to give judgement and ask personal questions more often than others, for example if I order a steak, Medium Rare. The waitress screws up her nose and says "eeew that means there's still blood in it!! Are you sure?" Yes I'm frickin' sure, take the order and keep you're opinions to yourself.
They seem to think its OK to guess when they think women might be pregnant (my wife has been congratulated on a non-existent pregnancy, she is not overweight!!), and manners should tell you that's not appropriate.
I've also heard the Philipina that works in my team blatantly call someone else 'fat'. Don't tell me this isn't rude.
