Unfortunately there is nothing you can do than go to the embassy and seek assistance. If you are on visit visa and you overstayed, you are obliged to pay the penalty of QR200 per day of your stay, with a maximum of QR12000 only. If you have any proof that you indeed worked for the company, you need to keep all the documents that you've received from them i.e. payslip, offer letter, attendance sheet, etc. or anything that can prove that you were promised of work but your visa wasn't processed and proceed to labor dept and file for a case. Better yet, talk to any public attorney and seek guidance. The embassy is our only safe haven overseas, and staying on your friend/relatives' house will put them on risk as it is a crime here in Qatar to help overstaying people which can have them deported if found out and reported.
Nothing we can do here but pray and wish you good luck.
