If you take it to dealer service center you will be raped to no end. I had a Ford here and vowed to never purchase another as long as I am in Qatar due exactly to the extortionate practices to obtain parts and service.
When I frist came to Qatar had a Ford Taurus and the A/C compressor blew. After getting quoted by the service center for nearly 2000 QR called my local Ford dealer, and again this is a DEALER in the USA, not a Pepboys or
Autozone or other parts/service center. The dealers in the USA are the most expensive. The USA dealer quoted a price of $155 installed, thats roughly 600 QR.
The parts and service here is all a scam and I would hightly recommend getting parts from USA shipped here.
