I'm not trying to learn information about specific laws (or branches of law) or looking for legal representation (thank goodness).

Rather, I'm interested both for personal and research purposes in what people who live in Qatar (especially Qataris) think about law and how it does and/or doesn't work well. I'm a law and social science university professor in the middle of a study on people's ideas about the rule of law in theory and practice in several Arab societies, including good old Qatar, where I used to live.
