I went to the Ministry today and it went brilliantly:
Accepting the premise (right or wrong) that my filed Arabic contract was legitimate, I demonstrated through pay slips and timesheets that I had gotten a "raise" from the original Arabic amount to my current actual wage. As ESG is calculated on my "last Basic Wage", which accounts for pay raises, they acknowledged that I simply make more money now than I did when they filed, and the ESG is to based on this new amount. Justice prevails!
BTW - Nobody else in my office remembers seeing the other two pages of the contract when they signed their top page either. Interesting...
