I would just like to add one bit of information about delivering at Hamad so you have the whole picture: you will not be able to be present in the delivery room with your wife while she's having the baby - you'll have to be content pacing the floor outside. You can be in the room with her if you choose to have your baby at one of the private hospitals like Al Ahli, but the costs are almost triple (or more) but if there's any complications and she needs to have a caesarean, back to Hamad you'll go.
