Thank you for such useful information. The parrot isn't mine and it isn't in my house. The two people who play with it are my husband and his brother. When we left for our holiday, his brother I think left for a week or two as well. So ya, maybe that was it. It has a nice big cage which is in the same place ever since they brought it into the house. The door is always open and it has the freedom to walk around, and it poops everywhere, but its gorgeous. I'm not too sure what they feed it, but I see the seeds mix in a box by the cage. I will tomorrow morning make sure they give it fresh fruits and toys to play with.
I refer to the parrot as an 'it' because I have no idea what the gender is. How can I find out?
