The pet shops are responsible for the huge epidemic of Ringworm and people keep buying infected cats and dumping them at QAWS. It is the very Devil to fully eradicate and without a UV Wood's Lamp, almost impossible to tell it is fully cleared unless you have the very expensive culture dishes. A Wood's Lamp is between 100-200USD, if QAWS would like one perhaps the Pets Group on QL could buy them one? I will happily contribute. Then, it would take 5 seconds to check any new animal coming to the shelter.
